Saracini vows to improve business environment, tourism
Newly-elected Minister of Economy Valon Saracini formally took up the post Friday, vowing to proceed with projects initiated by his predecessor Fatmir Besimi, who sworn in Thursday as new minister of defense.
“I'm aware there is a big challenge ahead of me. I will proceed with projects initiated by me predecessor,” Saracini said.
He expressed determination to improve the overall business environment and tourism in Macedonia.
“I remain fully committed to promoting a more conductive business environment, which will bring new investors and foster the competitiveness. I will put focus on the development of small- and medium-size enterprises and entrepreneurship. I will also pay attention to tourism, use of natural resources and cooperation with business community,” Saracini said.
